What we collect

When you apply for processing or contact us, we collect your name, business information, contact details, and the financial documents needed to underwrite a merchant account. We do not collect more than what's required to do business with you.

How we use it

Application information is used to evaluate your file, place you with a processing partner if approved, and stay in touch over the life of the account. We do not sell your data, rent it out, or include you on third-party marketing lists.

Who we share it with

Underwriting partners (the banks and processors we work with on your behalf), payment networks (Interac, card networks, and ACH operators), and our own internal team. Your information is not shared with anyone outside of these relationships without your explicit consent.

How long we keep it

For as long as you are an active merchant, plus the retention period required by applicable financial regulations after the account closes (typically seven years in Canada and the United States).

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time, subject to the regulatory retention requirements noted above. Email privacy@sisterprocessing.com.
